After about three days of upheaval trying to get newsletter mailing software updated, it ought to be going out smoothly at a predicatable time again. (If not, yet, you'll know the reason is more bugs.) In fact, this bonus email is a practical test of whether it's working.
EARLYBIRD EDITION
Regarding distribution time, if you live closer to Sydney, Australia than New York, U.S.A., and you would like your newsletter to arrive earlier, here's some help. An earlybird distribution now is sent out in time to reach Sydney in the Australian morning. If you wish, go to the newsletter page on the site, and subscribe to that version. But please be sure then also to unsubscribe from the main list. (There's a ceiling on how many messages can be sent from the server per day, so please let's keep to one list per per subscriber.)
BUT... Please be aware, the earlybird newsletter may not have the latest corrections and additions that are made on a U.S. Eastern Time publication schedule.
REVERIFYING SUBSCRIBERS - COMING IN SEPTEMBER
Some time soon, after schools are back in full swing, there needs to be a pruning of dormant subscribers. Please watch, probably starting in early September, for a message at the top of the newsletter advising action needed to stay active.
HOW TO FEEDBACK
For feedback, please use the Reply button on your email reader, or the menu button on the site. Those will connect to a current e-mail address. Ignore the recent header (past 3 days or so) indicating a spam issue and using a different email address. That header is a zombie... it re-appeared unintentionally during the software updating, and is out-dated. It'll shortly be tracked down and laid again to rest.
And, yes, feedback is always appreciated. Which part of the newslette do you most enjoy? New ideas? Typos, corrections? Or, just warm fuzzies.
Thank you for your continuing interest.
